The then flagship of the steam fleet at Peak Rail was 8F 48624 which is seen here in the new shed at Rowsley on the 13th January 2009 nearing the end of its extensive overhaul/rebuild. The locomotive starred in a gala being held in its honour on the 23rd - 25th May 2009 but has since departed from Peak Rail. (Mark Burrows)
